Research Students' Symposium 2017/18

As of the academic year 17/18 the Research Symposium is moving later in the academic year to April. This means that no symposium took place in the calendar year of 2017. This year's symposium will take place on 10th - 12th April, 2018.

We are happy to announce that Professor Simon Thompson (University of Kent) will be giving the keynote talk titled On the journey to independence: from first idea to first grant. The keynote will take place in Kilburn 1.1 at 11am on the 10th to be followed by prize giving for outstanding thesis and outstanding paper and then a buffet lunch and poster session in the lower-first area.

On the 11th and 12th we will hear about the exciting research happening in the school through a packed schedule of research talks.
