DEADLINE TODAY for Summer Showcase and Research Image Competition

The deadline for submissions to the Postgraduate Summer Research Showcase is today, Friday the 26th of April. This is a university wide event bringing together research students from all schools and disciplines. It's a great public engagement opportunity!

YOU DO NOT NEED A COMPLETED POSTER to submit today! All you need is a "poster title, 3 keywords and a short abstract of 150 words maximum. The abstract must be in plain unformatted text." The actual posters need to be ready by June 11th with the event itself taking place on the 12th.

Everything about the poster session is available from this page:

    http://www.psrs.manchester.ac.uk/posters/posterguidance/

In prior years, students who presented a poster at the PSRS developed significant cross-school collaboration including a commercial spin out!

Advice and feedback session about posters will be available in the school. For ad hoc feedback, send Bijan an email.

The Research Image competition requires a photo today! We often struggle in computer science to find striking images that capture what we're all about. But that's no reason not to try!
