Stores Inventory - stores will be closed on the 31st July and 1st August

    Dear All,

The Faculty will be moving it's present stores function to Oracle Financials Inventory on the 2nd August 2019.

In order to do this I need to inform you of some key dates and changes in process:

New stores stock (so any equipment you need to order) can only be ordered until the 17th July 2019.

ALL FSE (Faculty of Science and Engineering) stores will be closed on the 31st July and 1st August to allow a full stock evaluation. During this time the stores will still receive deliveries and inform end users of arrival. But no stores stock can be issued.

Please take time to replenish your laboratories before these closure dates.

It is expected that Stores will open on the 2nd August for normal business.

There are a few changes in the operation. When you go to the stores you will need to complete a requisition and provide a valid account code to be charged. In the case of Research codes and PG codes you will need to know the task code.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but it is necessary to move to a fully supported system in Oracle Financials.

    Kind Regards

    Stephen.

    July's PGR Social - Wednesday 17th - Free Drinks & Pizza

We're going to combine July's PGR Social with the Schools Summer Celebration.

The middle of the month is approaching, which means drinks for everyone! The event is this Wednesday (17th of June) in the Common Room, starting from 15:30. A usual reminder that alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are provided as well. Hope to see you all there

One difference is that you'll need to register (for catering purposes) so we know how many people will be coming per previous emails:

    (p/w is: Kilburn):

The next PGR drinks will be on the Friday of PGR Welcome Week in September.

    Have a great Summer.
