Ladies and gentlemen,
I am writing to draw your attention to the following prize, which are available for current PhD students in Computer Science
Carole Goble Medal for Outstanding Doctoral Paper in Computer Science.
You supervisor will have to nominate you: if you think you are interested, ask him. Full details are found in the PGR student handbook, the latest edition of which is available at

Nominations will have to be submitted to me at (ipratt@cs.man.ac.uk) by 23:59 on 26th February. (Supervisors are welcome to send in submissions earlier.) All other details may be found in the PGR Handbook; if you have any queries, you may of course email me.

PGR students of all categories are hereby invited to apply to be a graduate teaching assistant in semester 2 of 2020/21. Note that there may be very different delivery methods for teaching delivery so GTA support may be different than in previous years.
