Location, opening times and contacts
The Computer Science Library is located at the Student Support Office.
Its services are available exclusively to current students and staff of the School of Computer Science.
To borrow items from the Computer Science Library please come to the Student Support Office during office hours Mondays - Fridays. (Please note that requests for some items, including MSc dissertations, must be made in advance.)

- Course Unit Reading Lists
The Computer Science Library holds multiple paper copies of all of the books which currently appear on the School's reading lists (for COMP units only).   A collection of selected Computer Science books for background reading is also available.

- Undergraduate 3rd Year Project Reports
Electronic format only: full-text collection from the academic year 2006 - 07 onwards; screencasts also included from the academic year 2016-17 onwards.
- Theses / Dissertations
Computer Science PhD / MEnt / MPhil / MRes theses: very limited collection of paper copies, plus electronic versions of some abstracts.
Computer Science MSc dissertations: full collection of paper copies (with electronic abstracts and selected electronic full-text versions) for the academic years 2007 - 08 through to 2014 - 15 inclusive, then electronic abstracts/selected electronic full-text versions only from the academic year 2015 - 16 onwards. Some dissertations for earlier years may be available, but we cannot guarantee this.
Requests to borrow paper copies of older theses / dissertations (if available) must be made at least one working day in advance. When requesting any thesis / dissertation, please provide full details of the author, title, and year of publication.
